'Rogač na kub' naziv je nutri-gastro radionice koja će ujediniti znanja uzgoja i prerade rogača, njegovog utjecaja na zdravlje te gastronomsku pripremu. Na radionici u trajanju od sat i pol upoznajte rogač i dozvolite mu da vas odvede u 3D dimenziju degustirajući proizvode u kreaciji Mirne Sentić i Ruzmarin Gastro & Bar tima!

ROGAČ (Ceratonia siliqua) je zimzeleno drvo koje raste u mediteranskim područjima umjerene klime. Rogač je rasprostranjen diljem svijeta, a postoje oko 600 različitih vrsta rogača, kako divljih tako i kultiviranih.
Plodovi su mahune koje sadrže sjemenke jednake dimenzije i mase, što je povijesno bilo izuzetno značajno. Od davnina je korišten u prehrambene svrhe, a danas se često koristi u kulinarstvu u obliku praha za izradu raznih slastica, umaka, marinada, energetskih pločica te sirove pripreme hrane kao što su smoothiji, mousse-vi i napici. Različiti načini mljevenja rogača čine razliku u njegovoj namjeni u industriji.
Danas su zanimljive i njegove nutritivne karakteristike: visok sadržaj vlakana, antioksidanata, vitamina i minerala, dok znanstvena istraživanja istražuju i njegovu ulogu u regulaciji kolesterola. Njegov potencijal u prehrambenom svijetu definitivno je velik, što ga čini hranom s funkcionalnim djelovanjem. O svemu tome pričat će nam mag. nutr. Mirna Sentić, poznatija i kao Mirna Nutrigurman!

Carob (Ceratonia siliqua) is an evergreen tree that grows in Mediterranean regions with a moderate climate. Carob is spread worldwide, with around 600 different species, both wild and cultivated.

Its fruits are pods containing seeds of uniform size and weight, which has historically been significant. Used for food purposes since ancient times, today it is commonly used in culinary as a powder for making various sweets, sauces, marinades, energy bars, and raw food preparation such as smoothies, mousses, and beverages. Different grinding methods of carob make a difference in its industrial use.

Today, its nutritional characteristics are also interesting: high fiber content, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, while scientific research explores its role in cholesterol regulation. Its potential in the food world is definitely significant, making it a functional food. Mag. Nutr. Mirna Sentić, also known as Mirna Nutrigurman, will talk to us about all of this!
